THE LOVEMASTERS – Pusherman Of Love (1997)

.

Bobby Beyond, a.k.a. Bootsey X, whips together another soup of snotty rock & roll on this, their second full-length release. The Detroit Lovemasters owe much to the Stooges for their guitar-based rock. A notable exception is the cosmic production of the title track which starts out in a Funkadelic’s Free Your Mind style before diving into an organ and guitar frenzy. the Lovemasters are about high-visibility sexuality, the fun of scoring, and the need for action. [Tom Schulte]

Fun mix of The Stooges/Thunders kinda garage punk + healty dose of R&B/Funk influences too. Don’t miss it!
