Surfadelic Presents: Songs The MISSING SOULS Taught Us [60’s Garage/R&B]

THE MISSING SOULS 1aa

As I told you so… Here’s a collection of original tunes covered by French garage band The Missing Souls. Most tunes are 60’s garage songs picked up from classic comp series as Pebbles [The Plague ”Go Away”, The Bruthers ”Bad Way To Go”], Back From The Grave [Painted Ship ”Little White Lies”], Girls In The Garage [Karen Verros ”You Just Gotta Know My Mind”, The What Four ”I’m Gonna Destroy That Boy”], Monsters Of The Midwest/Psychedelic States [Teardrops ”Sweet, Sweet Sadie” & The Scoundrels ”Up There”], Sixties Rebellion [The Dawnbreakers ”Alligator”], Born Bad [The Shells “Whiplash”], Mayhem & Psychosis/Glimpses [The Ruins ”The End”], plus few R&B/Roll tunes as classics Etta James ”Seven Day Fool’‘ or Chuck Berry’s ”I’m Talking About You”.

The Missing Souls proved they’re very good in covering songs as well as they got real cool taste in rock’n’roll. And now ladys & germs… do the Dig!!!

THE MISSING SOULS !!!

The Missing Souls

Great garage/mod revival band from Lyon, France. These guys’n gal really dig 60’s garage the right way. On their 2016. debut slab and singles all songs are covers of tunes from Pebbles/Back From The Grave/Girls In Garage kinda comps, done in a real cool and refreshing style & sound. They are one of the best garage revival gang I heard lately. They’re FABULOUS, believe you me! Soon I’ll post collection of 60’s originals they covered, until then Check ’em out!
